When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you use the app, we collect tasting logs you create (including ratings, flavor notes, brew methods, and free-form notes), your optional home city, and the venues you visit or submit. We record timestamps for when records are created and updated.
Your data powers the app features: your logs are displayed in your personal history, your flavor profile is computed from your logs, and your home city is used to personalise the map. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising.
Data is stored on Supabase Cloud, hosted in Ireland (EU). All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS.
As a user in the EU, you have the right to access your data, correct inaccuracies, and delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page — this permanently removes your logs, profile, and all personal data from our systems. Venues you submitted remain on the map as community content with no attribution.
Data export (GDPR Article 20 right to portability) is not yet available as a self-service feature. To request a copy of your data, contact us at the address below.
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party cookies.
